Les Alpagas de Kergohy
Yarn
Alpaca yarn is light, soft and luxurious. It knits beautifully and feels wonderful.

The yarn is stronger, warmer and lighter than cashmere. It is resistant to pilling and will retain its shape if some simple care instructions are followed.
Garment care:
Alpaca wool needs slightly different care from other natural fibers. The following instructions should help you to ensure that your alpaca clothing stays beautiful for years to come.
1. Wash the garment by hand in cold or tepid water, using a hand wash product for wool or silk.
2. Gently squeeze the garment into the water for two to three minutes, but do not rub, wring or twist it.
3. Rinse it at least twice in cold water until there is no trace of detergent visible.
4. Gently squeeze the garment, without wringing or twisting it, to remove excess water.
5. Do not hang the garment up to dry but dry it flat on a drying rack or towel, away from direct heat and sunlight.
6. When it’s dry, you can gently press it with a steam iron to remove any remaining creases, if needed.
